SUPPORTS ANNOUNCED FOR CANCER BATS SIDESHOWS—
Born in 2008, IN TRENCHES is convulsing into life the only way it knows how. Featuring members of I Killed The Prom Queen, Day Of Contempt and The Abandonment, the members time dormant has let their resolve fester into an entirely more intense creature, still grounded in heavy hardcore, but earthier, dirtier and spitting discordance. 2009′s acclaimed album ‘Relive & Regret’ has seen the band hit the road hard with a notoriously intense live show. Don’t miss IN TRENCHES in their final shows on the back of this album, supporting CANCER BATS at all the sideshows except Perth.
MARY JANE KELLY will be delivering their refreshing take on punk/hardcore/metal for the Melbourne and Sydney shows, with VALKERE supporting in Brisbane, DICK WOLF in Adelaide, and THE PROLETARIATE and SURRENDER in Perth.

They’ve birthed a grimy hardcore giant and hailed a more metal-centric destroyer, but in 2010, CANCER BATS dropped their heaviest and deadliest offering to date with ‘Bears, Mayors, Scraps & Bones’. Not only will they be bringing their rhythmic ferocity on stage alongside heavy weights Bullet For My Valentine and Bring Me The Horizon in September, but CANCER BATS are treating their fans with additional shows added to the Australian leg of the tour.
Their new album ‘Bears, Mayors, Scraps & Bones’ sees them at their most ferocious and is “Crusty, jarring and still as acerbic as ever, this is Cancer Bats at their best” – Rock Sound. That’s not to say their earlier albums were anything but blistering collections of balls-out rock, because, as anyone who’s shared some blood, sweat, or beers at a Bats show will attest, that sure as hell isn’t the case.
Fueled by a burning desire to rage harder, play louder and have more fun than any other band, CANCER BATS are used to turning venues into rolling pits of punk rock hell and will no doubt “have the pit moving, and long time fans thanking the musical gods that a band of this design continues to exist.” – Kill Your Stereo
