With their debut album ‘Life Of The Party’, HEROES FOR HIRE made the jump from the highways of Australia to stereos worldwide. No strangers to hard work, the band have been juggling their love for playing live with their studio commitment to recording their second album and luckily for us they are throwing their support behind MXPX, THE ATARIS and FEEDER at the Annandale Hotel on Monday 28 February!
Formed in mid-2010, Melbourne 5-piece melodic punk band STRICKLAND have only gone from strength-to-strength in their short existence. With equal parts bouncy riffs, catchy melodies and a positive mentality in tow, STRICKLAND are set to take 2011 by the throat and are rounding out the killer triple bill at the East Brunswick Club show on Thursday 3 March.

MXPX has made more of an impact on the pop punk scene than any other band hands down. After 18 years and 2.5 million album sales they still manage to capture the energy, confusion and rebellion amongst their fans. As Absolute Punk so succinctly put it “Without MXPX this website would not exist.”
THE ATARIS story reads like a punk-rock fairy tale: teenager lives in boring mid-western town; goes to a Vandals show and gives the band a tape; weeks later gets a call from Vandals bassist (and owner of Kung Fu Records) Joe Escalante asking him to record for his label; moves to California and puts band together…the rest as they say is history.
MXPX‘s Mike Herrera is teaming up with the front man of THE ATARIS, Kris Roe and the drummer of The Summer Obsession, Chris Wilson (formerly of Good Charlotte) to deliver this once in a lifetime opportunity to get up close and personal to the men behind the songs that seemed to spur on your teenage angst.
